Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
Is it necessary to flip my mattress?
Most Simmons® mattresses are built with a single-sided No-Flip design, eliminating the need to flip the mattress for maintenance. We suggest rotating the No-Flip mattress every 60 days from head to foot to prevent continued compression of upholstered materials. For Simmons® Two-Sided mattresses, please follow these tips for flipping and rotating.
What is the proper procedure for flipping and turning a mattress?
Please refer to A1.
Why is it important to flip and turn a mattress regularly?
This helps relieve compression on the upholstered materials, which are soft and designed to work with the coils to provide comfort and support simultaneously.
Why does my new Simmons® mattress have differences in length or width?
Simmons®, like all other bedding manufacturers, subscribes to the American National Standard for Bedding Products. Dimensions are allowed ±1.27 cm (±0.5 in) tolerance.
What type of bed frame should I use for my Simmons® mattress?
Please use a flat bed frame. Other bed frames that lack support may cause the mattress to sag.
Could I sit on the edge of the mattress?
Do not sit on the edge, stand, or jump on the mattress, as this may damage the coil structure.
Does the 10-year warranty mean I can replace the mattress free of charge during the warranty period?
If the replacement standard is met after inspection, Simmons® will provide free product replacement at its discretion within the first two years after mattress purchase. From the first day of the third year to within ten years, the customer is required to pay for the replacement fees.
